Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Ridgefield Park, NJ seeks dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a part-time role to assist individuals with developmental delays in daily living and community participation.

Responsibilities include helping with transportation, personal care, and documenting supports; you will accompany clients on outings, encourage healthy habits, and help integrate them into the community.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental delays.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.

Kindly Direct Care is seeking DSPs who are reliable, caring and motivated to aide individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves, their families and their community.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)

• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community

• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)

• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits

• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays

• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle

Job Type: Part-time - 2 days a week, 9 am - 3 pm

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
