Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with developmental disabilities attain independence and build better lives for themselves and their families.

DSPs provide compassion, support daily living tasks, transportation, meal prep, and community involvement, while documenting supports and progress throughout the day. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required, with full-time or part-time schedules available.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental delays.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.).
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community.
• Help individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.).
• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits.
• Document the supports given and activities completed throughout the day.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) must be able to provide compassion, understanding, and realization of the individual's dreams.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with individual's day-to-day needs (transportation, bathing, preparing meals, etc.)

• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community

• Help Individuals integrate into the community through various activities (shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)

• Provide encouragement and coaching to individuals who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits

Job Requirements Include:

• One (1) year working with individuals with developmental delays

• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle
