Job summary

Assurance Care & Support Services Inc in Fair Lawn, NJ, seeks compassionate direct-support professionals to provide one-on-one assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs.

You will help with daily living activities, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, monitor progress, and implement care plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or senior care preferred.
• Knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition guidelines.
• Ability to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies.
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to take vital signs and monitor health status.
• Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
