Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver in Concord, NH. You will provide training and supervision to individuals in living skills and therapeutic activities in both residential and community settings.

The role involves assisting with daily tasks, transportation to activities, and collaboration with clinical staff to support treatment plans. A NH driver’s license and GED/HS diploma are required, with background checks and a minimum age of 21.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in the human services field.
• Valid Driver's License from state of residence.
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• A caring attitude with dedication to assisting others.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills, therapeutic recreation and other forms of assistance in residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings or providing transportation.
• Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
