Position Summary

As a Direct Care Professional (Direct Support Professional), you will provide hands‑on care and support to male and female residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and individual goals. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment while supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well‑being.

Pay Rates & Available Shifts

1 st shift (7a-3:30p). The base pay is $19.75 per hour, with an additional $2.00/hour weekend shift differential.

2 nd shift (3p-11:30p). The base pay is $19.75 per hour, with an additional $2.00/hour shift differential and $2.00/hour weekend shift differential.

3 rd shift (11p-7:30a). The base pay is $19.75 per hour, with an additional $1.00/hour shift differential and $2.00/hour weekend shift differential.

• Provide direct care and supervision to residents in a residential healthcare setting
• Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and daily living activities
• Support residents in achieving individual goals and fostering independence
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment
• Follow care plans, policies, and procedures

• Uphold confidentiality and dignity at all times

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to push residents weighing up to 200 pounds in wheelchairs
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to speak, hear, and remain alert and awake for the entire shift
• CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided if needed)
• Previous experience preferred but not required
