Job summary

Sevita is seeking a dedicated caregiver for ResCare Community Living to support individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them grow and live independently in their community. This driving role requires a valid license and ability to verify driving history. The Friday–Monday shift (6 am – 2 pm) offers $17.11 per hour with full-time benefits.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, reliable teamwork, and proactive involvement in participants' daily activities and routines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.

Overview

Compensation and Schedule

Payrate: $17.11 / hr

Union Dues: .5% per paycheck

Shift: Friday-Monday (6 am - 2 pm)

Mandatory Requirement: This is a driving position. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to verify at least one year of active driving history. If the current license was issued less than one year ago, candidates must provide a motor vehicle record, previous license, or other acceptable documentation demonstrating continuous valid licensure for at least one year. Failure to provide such documentation will result in ineligibility for employment.
