Job summary

Heart to Heart Health Care Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a group home setting. The role includes direct support, transportation, and helping residents complete daily routines with dignity.

You will assist with activities such as self-care, household tasks, and recreational activities, promoting independence and safety while collaborating with a supportive team in a brick-township

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Physical and PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support to individuals with IDD in a Group Home setting.
• Provide support, transportation and assistance for daily routines to ensure safety, health and dignity.
• Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing and laundry; supervise recreation.
• Encourage independence by providing opportunity and skill training in self-care, household chores and social/recreation skills.

Job Description
Direct Support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a Group Home setting. Provide support, transportation and assistance for each individual to enable her/him to complete daily routines in a safe, healthy, productive and dignified manner. This usually includes toileting, bathing, dressing, laundry, supervision of recreation. Encourages independence by providing both the opportunity and the appropriate levels of skill training for the individuals in categories such as self-care, household chores, social skills, recreation skills, etc.
