Heart to Heart Home Care is seeking professional Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a group home setting. You will provide support, transportation, and daily living assistance to promote independence and dignity.

Requirements include a driver’s license, a second form of ID, background checks, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Full-time, part-time and PRN positions are available with hourly pay of $17.00–$18.00.

Job Description

Direct Support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a Group Home setting. Provide support, transportation and assistance for each individual to enable her/him to complete daily routines in a safe, healthy, productive and dignified manner. This usually includes toileting, bathing, dressing, laundry, supervision of recreation. Encourages independence by providing both the opportunity and the appropriate levels of skill training for the individuals in categories such as self-care, household chores, social skills, recreation skills, etc.
