Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our program in Antioch, CA. You will provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, implement behavior plans, and support daily living skills in community and home settings.

The role requires a verifiable high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least 6 months of related experience. RBT certification is encouraged and training is provided within 12 months of hire.

• Merakey will provide access to the necessary training and support to help employees meet these requirements. These must be completed within 1 year of hire:
• DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certification – Required within 12 months of hire.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification – Required within 12 months of hire.

Schedule

Friday - Monday & Wednesday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Pay

$26.00-$28.00 per hour

(rate increases to $2 per hour once you have received your RBT – Registered Behavioral Technician certification)

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals with development disabilities in a variety of potential settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings, as well as Adult Training Facilities. The DSP will assist with direct care as well as implementation of behavior plans. We provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity and contentment of every consumer served by assisting and training individuals in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.
