Exceptional Persons Inc. is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide daily hands-on support to adults with mental illness, brain injuries, and developmental disabilities.

You’ll help with daily living tasks, health monitoring, and community participation, in a role that offers real purpose and variety. Full-time positions (30+ hours/week) include benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years old or older required.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, good driving record, reliable vehicle for on-the-job use.
• Pass an extensive background check including registries and driving records.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships while supporting adults with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and mobility support.
• Support health and wellness including medications and behavioral needs as trained.
• Facilitate community engagement in activities, events, and appointments.
• Teach and reinforce life skills to promote independence.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation each shift.
