Job summary

Dungarvin inc is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to lead activities and assist adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This hands-on role includes personal care, behavior support, and empowering participants to build independence.

You will work Monday through Friday with weekends off, and participate in paid training, orientation, and a comprehensive benefits package. No experience in a clinical setting is required, but compassionate teamwork matters.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relevant hands-on support experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities such as cooking, arts, and life-skills sessions.
• Provide personal care and mobility support.
• Assist with community outings and volunteer activities.
• Support individuals with communication needs and behavior plans.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment and follow plans.
