MARC, Inc. of Manchester is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental disabilities in group homes.

The position supports daily living activities, home management, finances, nutrition, and medical needs, while fostering independence and community participation. Ideal candidates have compassion, prior experience with adults with special needs, strong interpersonal and communication skills, good judgment, and a valid CT driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have CT driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance, as driving is required.
• CPR, First Aid, PMT and Medication Certification are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides staff and natural supports to and implements services for each person served.
• Works with Group Home Manager on goals of people served.
• Ensures residential settings meet physical standards and residents' rights.
