Abound Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Hickory, NC. Join a compassionate, mission-driven team that provides paid training to turn empathy into a professional career.

Qualifications

• Must have compassionate, patient, and encouraging attitude.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Empowerment & Personal Care: Provide hands-on ADL support (hygiene, grooming, mealtime).
• Behavioral Support & Advocacy: Offer positive behavioral support per plans and assist with de‑escalation.
• Community & Integration: Help individuals engage with transportation, appointments, and community activities.
• Health & Wellness: Support health and wellness, assist with mobility and meal prep.
