Sevita’s Mentor Community Services in California is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support adults with developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, help participants engage in meaningful activities, and build trusting relationships in a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.

• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Provide compassionate, patient, reliable care.
