Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Direct Support Professional II to assist adults with disabilities in a supportive, learning-focused setting. You will help implement programs, encourage positive behaviors, and support daily living activities within a structured team environment.

The role offers flexible shifts (including overnights), paid training, and opportunities for professional growth. Training in RBT and advancement through the ASCEND Career Accelerator Program are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to work with challenging/aggressive behaviors.
• Hygiene care for adults served (male and female).
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Utilize positive reinforcement and antecedent manipulation to increase appropriate behaviors.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and documenting programs for social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Assist with daily living activities including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal hygiene.
• Accompany individuals on community outings and medical appointments as directed.
• Support individuals with safety and behavioral intervention techniques as needed.
