Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Williamstown, NJ is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals in daily living activities within our day program. This part-time role starts at $20.42 per hour and includes benefits after 30 days of employment.

You will supervise and coach in skills like cooking, cleaning, and shopping; document programs; and arrange community activities. Applicants need a HS Diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, be 18+, and complete paid onsite

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Empathetic with a team approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from day program.
