Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You will provide person-centered care, encourage independence and ensure safety and dignity in every interaction.

We offer a part-time, in-person role requiring a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Prior DSP experience is preferred; ability to drive winter mountain routes with an AWD/4WD vehicle is

Qualifications

Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Prior experience as a DSP.
Vehicle must be AWD/4WD and capable of winter mountain driving.
Client prefers male staff.

Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on support with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
Foster independence and community involvement for individuals with disabilities.
Implement and adapt individualized care plans and BSP.
Ensure a safe, respectful environment that protects individual rights and well-being.
Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other diverse needs.
Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Provide transportation and accompany individuals to medical, therapy, and community appointments.
