Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Montague, NJ. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid after meeting hours milestones. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, onboarding training, and opportunities for advancement in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Building positive relationships and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Supporting individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Using adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals develop new skills
• Monitoring health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicating with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed
• Completing documentation and maintaining schedules
• Completing ongoing training and professional development
