ADAPT of the Hudson Valley is hiring Direct Support Professionals to help individuals lead independent and fulfilling lives across Rockland County locations. No experience is required; bring patience, energy, and compassion, and start with a starting pay of $17.75 per hour.

You will support daily activities, create a welcoming home environment, assist with cooking, transportation, and personal care, and participate in day trips and community engagement.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and good standing.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Six months of related experience preferred but not required.
• AMAP training will be provided within six months if not already approved.

Responsabilidades

• Help people grow, learn, and live with dignity.
• Create a welcoming, supportive home environment.
• Assist with daily activities like cooking, transportation, and personal care.
• Participate in day trips and community engagement.
• Share hobbies and passions with residents.
• Work beyond scheduled shift may be required.
• Orientation and training at agency Headquarters in Middletown.
