Lifetime Assistance, a mission-driven provider, seeks a Direct Support Professional – Residential in Rochester, NY. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers meaningful work with individuals with IDD, supporting daily living, independence and community participation.

Starting wage is $21.55/hour with a weekend differential of $0.75. No prior experience required; comprehensive training, health benefits and career growth are included in a caring culture.

Qualifications

• Must meet Vehicle Operator requirements (except overnight/relief shifts).
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
• Must pass all required background checks and clearances (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL).

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities and household tasks.
• Support individuals in developing independence and social skills.
• Ensure health and safety, including medication administration if certified.
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in social activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation when needed.
• Maintain positive communication with individuals, families and colleagues.
• Complete required training, certifications and ongoing professional development.
