Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You’ll help with daily living skills, transport, and social participation to promote independence.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a background check, and 18+ years old; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are expected. Compensation starts around $17/hour with orientation and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Support daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team members to ensure quality support.
