Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support for individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You’ll help with daily living activities and promote independence.

Starting pay ranges from $13 to $15 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits such as health coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth. Flexible schedules and meaningful, community-based work complete the role.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and able to pass background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Willingness to work safely in clients' homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, grooming, and transportation.
• Encourage participation in social activities and community events.
• Document care accurately and communicate with the care team to ensure quality support.
