Job summary

Ryans Place LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals 3+ with daily living, personal care, and community access, improving quality of life. You will document progress and support developmental and social skills.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or home health aide experience preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification required.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Criminal background check clear.
• Minimum of 2 professional/personal references.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community access for clients.
• Interact positively with clients and staff; model appropriate conduct and clear communication.
• Support individuals per their Individual Support Plan and document progress within 24 hours.
• Perform medication administration and related documentation per policy.
• Provide transportation using a vehicle with valid license and insurance.
• Attend meetings/trainings and complete CEUs annually.
