Job summary

North Star Oregon LLC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Union County, Oregon. The role supports individuals with I/DD in homes, communities, and day programs, with pay of $25.00–$26.00 per hour, paid training, and optional overtime.

We offer flexible scheduling, health plan options, and a 401(k) with match. Part-time to full-time opportunities may grow with availability and service needs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete an ODHS-approved background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meal prep.
• Support participation in community activities, outings, appointments, and skill-building.
• Promote individual choice, dignity, privacy, independence, and self-determination.
• Help develop social, communication, and independent living skills per support plan.
• Assist with medication support and documentation per orders and policies.
• Complete required electronic documentation on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, supportive environment per safety protocols.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, guardians, coworkers, case managers, and support team.
