Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with daily living and community participation in Downingtown, PA.

The roles emphasize compassion, reliability, and strong communication as you support with skill-building and daily activities. Positions are contracted on a one-on-one basis with flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with weekly compensation and opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people with autism and

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to complete background checks.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and existing insurance.
• Must be willing and able to drive individuals in a personal car throughout the community.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Flexibility is preferred to allow more opportunity for individual assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Individuals as they develop and maintain skills to improve daily living and social skills.
• Engage in activities with Individuals to live more independently within the community and/or be more productive and participatory in community life.
• Maintain annual 24 hour training requirements.
