Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities in community and home settings.

You will help develop daily living and social skills, engage in meaningful activities, and support community participation. The role is a contract/one-on-one position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, requiring compassion, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Willing to drive individuals in a personal car in the community.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate different assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Individuals as they develop and maintain skills to improve daily living and social skills.
• Engage in activities with Individuals to live more independently within the community.
• Maintain annual 24 hour training requirements.
