Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support in Florham Park, NJ. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently. Training is provided and scheduling is flexible.

The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with weekly pay and a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting hours requirements.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; paid training provided.
• Empathy and patience to support individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
