Job summary
ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings, following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success.
The role offers flexible hours and local cases with a supportive team and growth opportunities within a DDD-focused agency.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
- Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
- Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
- Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
- Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
