Job summary

New Vista KY in Louisville is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered support to residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

You will work a full-time, rotating schedule (including weekends) in a residential setting, helping with daily living activities, transportation, and community engagement while documenting progress and maintaining dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass drug and background screening (no felony, no pending court dates).
• Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports and services to residents daily.
• Ensure safety, welfare and rights of residents with dignity.
• Assist residents with daily living skills and community activities.
• Complete documentation confidentially and accurately.
• Assist residents with employment and enrichment activities.
