Options For All is hiring a Direct Support Professional to help adults with disabilities build independence and participate fully in their communities in Santa Clara County. You will support daily activities, help set and reach personal goals, and foster community inclusion.

The role involves building relationships with individuals, families, and partners, planning meaningful activities, and documenting progress using basic mobile and computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily activities, personal goals, and life skills.
• Encourage independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, caregivers, and community partners.
• Plan meaningful and engaging activities based on each person’s goals and interests.
• Help individuals connect with their communities through work, volunteer, and social opportunities.
• Follow health and safety practices to provide high-quality support.
• Complete documentation using basic mobile and computer systems.
