Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist clients with daily living activities, implement ISPs, and promote independence within the community. Responsibilities include medication administration, transportation support, and maintaining accurate care notes.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, be 18+, possess a valid driver's license, and ideally have prior experience with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certifications to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement ISPs aligning with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and support, encouraging social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.

Education
