Job summary

Northeast Arc in Danvers, MA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in our group homes on the North Shore.

Pay is $23.50–$24.50 per hour, plus $15 for sleep shifts. MAP certification is required, and CPR/FA certification is essential to support individuals in living independent lives.

You will provide direct care, assist with daily living, document records, support community activities, and follow safety protocols in CACR Home.

Qualifications

• CPR/FA and MAP certification required.
• Valid driver's license required for most positions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with transfers and daily living.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care and support the clinical and social needs of the individuals.
• Document accurately in Health Records, Logs and daily data books as outlined by policy.
• Facilitate meaningful community experiences to foster skill acquisition and independence.
• Assist with transfers, bathing, grooming, and following dining protocols.
• Administer medications per MAPs Regulations and support doctors' appointments and on-call nursing.
• Maintain a safe work environment and staffing ratios as contracts with agencies require.
