Job summary

Open Arms Care in Nashville seeks caring staff to support individuals with IDD in a home-like setting. You will promote teamwork, actively teach independence, and ensure a safe, organized, and participant-centered environment.

The role requires two weeks of paid training, valid driver’s license, CPR within 30 days, and PCM certification within 60 days, with day and weekend shifts available. Join a team devoted to improving lives.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and/or GED preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Certified in Professional Crisis Management (PCM) within 60 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent OAC in a positive and professional manner at meetings and events.
• Organize activities that promote an organized and positive environment and independence.
• Make decisions on best practices, QA, risk management, and report injuries.
• Coach and mentor individuals in home management and independent living skills.
• Assist with coordinating schedules, appointments, and client transportation; ensure documentation is timely.
