Qualifications

• Contractor status: must be willing to contract as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience supporting individuals with IDD, including day support or community networking, preferred.
• Transportation: Valid North Carolina Driver's License, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
• Screening: Ability to pass standard background check.

Responsibilities

• Day Support (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM): provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, routines, and skill-building.
• Community Networking (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM): accompany member to community activities, volunteering, and social events to build connections.
• Goal Progression & Safety: collaborate with care coordinators and family to implement care plans and track progress toward goals.
• Reliable Communication: maintain clear scheduling and progress updates with the member and family.
