Job summary

Impact Support Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist youth and adults with disabilities in home, community, and program settings in Columbia, MO. The role focuses on person-centered supports to help individuals achieve goals and participate in meaningful activities.

The position is part-time with weekday afternoons and evenings and every other Saturday. The salary is $18-$20 per hour with up to a $3 weekend differential, and demands strong communication and teamwork to

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain class E within 14 days.
• Proof of vehicle insurance and background checks.
• Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support youth and/or adults with disabilities in structured programs and in-home/community settings.
• Foster social, behavioral, and life skill development.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Implement individualized goals and service plans.
• Facilitate skill-building activities for independence.
• Transport to appointments and activities.
• Maintain documentation and reports timely.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
