Job summary

Able-Services, the adult services affiliate of Leg Up Farm, seeks Direct Support Professionals to enrich activities and outings for adults. You will help participants learn independence skills and enjoy meaningful days in the day program and during community trips.

Full-time and some part-time roles are eligible for benefits; paid training, time off, holidays, healthcare, and 401K are included where applicable, with background checks covered.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally, both orally and in writing.
• Able to work well in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible, patient, and able to adapt to new activities and directions.
• Willing to obtain required background checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging activities and community outings to help individuals learn skills for independence.
• Support participants with personal care and keep them safe throughout the day.
• Assist with transportation and county outings and provide active day-to-day engagement.
