A Direct Support Professional (DSP) assists individuals in daily activities while promoting independence and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The role offers a 30-hour schedule with full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid sick and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and teamwork.
• Compassionate attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and insured vehicle.
• Ability to commute to Conneaut Lake, PA.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming and dressing.
• Providing meal preparation support and meeting dietary needs.
• Performing housekeeping duties to keep group homes clean and organized.
• Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and skill development.
• Administering prescribed medications.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress and changes in condition.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
