Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a Team Lead to supervise staff and provide direct services in residential and community settings. You’ll support individuals we serve, coordinate training, and help with recruitment while modeling professional behavior and ensuring quality documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience in providing direct services in the human services field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance are required.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Strong leadership and effective communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and a compassionate, reliable approach are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to staff in the residence and community while delivering direct services.
• Attend training for individuals served to ensure objectives and company goals are met.
• Participate in community outings and orient new employees, serving as a role model with accurate/timely documentation.
• Assist with house staffing needs and staff recruitment.
• Monitor progress and coordinate shift objectives.
• Deliver services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management per IP/treatment team.
