Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional Lead (DSP Lead) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The role supports daily activities, chores, meals, recreation, learning, and fitness while promoting independence.

Locations include Leominster or Westminster. Schedule is 2nd shift (3p-11p). A HS Diploma or GED is required and prior disability-support experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience using Therap is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities including household chores, meal preparation, recreational activities, learning activities and physical fitness.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served and contribute input on program planning.
