ELEVATE provides direct support professionals for residents in an Intensive Residential Support Home. The DSP delivers daily care, helps with meals, personal care, and community involvement, and may administer medications during shifts.
The role covers all shifts to ensure around-the-clock coverage within a 24-hour home, with opportunities to train in CPI/Mandt and medication management. Required are a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, plus at least one year experience with
The direct support professional is responsible for the daily support and oversight of clients living in the Intensive Residential Support Home. The DSP provides care for individuals living with disability and/or mental health illness by providing support and assisting with daily activities in their homes. This will include working on identified goals such as meal cooking and preparation, personal cares, promoting community involvement, social skills etc. The DSP will be responsible for administering medications during the shift needed. The home operates 24 hours a day. DSP’s will be scheduled over all shifts to ensure coverage.
N/B: Will need to secure CPI/Mandt Training, Medication Manager training
Eligible DSP staff may receive an additional $1.50 per hour for all hours worked within a payroll period when the following criteria are met.
To qualify for the $1.50 per hour attendance incentive, the DSP must:
If any of the above conditions are not met during the payroll period, the attendance incentive will not apply for that payroll cycle.
