Job summary

Class LTD is hiring a Direct Support Coach to provide direct care for individuals with disabilities in Columbus, KS. The role involves companionship, assistance with daily living activities, coaching on coping with challenges, and supporting independence.

You will assist with basic medical needs, transportation, and household tasks, while monitoring health, safety, and well-being. Training is provided; the schedule is full-time with evenings and weekends as listed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment testing required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driver status.
• Experience appreciated but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and transportation.
• Coaching on coping with challenges and daily tasks.
• Monitor health, safety and well-being; document notes.
• Distribute and record medications as prescribed.
• Travel to appointments and activities.
