RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. You will help clients engage in the community, develop independence, and advocate for their rights.

The role operates under supervision, following person-centered plans and guidelines to ensure high-quality care. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 and a competitive hourly rate of $18.50 are included for full-time schedules across 1st, 2nd, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote health and safety by supporting wellness initiatives and accident prevention.
• Encourage self-advocacy and empower individuals to make their own choices.
• Facilitate community engagement by accompanying individuals to work, recreation, and social events.
• Teach and support independent living skills, including household management and personal care.
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Foster social connections by supporting relationship-building within the community.
• Assist with medication administration in accordance with state laws and regulations.
