Job summary

Essential Services LLC in Wisconsin and Oregon is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered care in clients' homes and in the community. You will assist with daily living activities, implement individualized goals, and help clients thrive with independence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving role.
• Own reliable transportation for transporting clients.
• Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance (minimum 100k/300k liability).
• Willing to work weekends (required).
• Smartphone with internet access for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily tasks such as hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while encouraging independence.
• Implement goals outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Foster healthy routines and support client development in line with their abilities and interests.
• Accompany clients on outings, appointments, or errands.
• Promote social inclusion by encouraging community interaction and positive relationships.
