Waypoint Maine, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Adult Services—Community Support. The DSP will work in residential and community settings to promote independence and meaningful engagement, guided by Person-Centered Plans and SIPs.

The role is hourly, 35–40 hours weekly, M-F with occasional nights and weekends, reporting to the Community Support Manager. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required; CRMA/Safety Care certification will be pursued as part of the

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must become DSP, CRMA and Safety Care certified as primary responsibility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized support to promote independence and community engagement.
• Assist with daily living activities, health, safety and documentation.
• Administer medications per policy and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate service records and participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Support member goals per Person-Centered Plans and SIPs.
