Mountain Area Community Services, Inc. (MACS) is currently seeking caring and compassionate applicants for the following opening within the Mills River/South Asheville area.

Job Title

Direct Care Provider – This position provides support services for a capable, well‑mannered young female with special needs and assists with community networking.

Hours and Compensation

Daytime hours, Monday–Friday, up to 20 hours per week at $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with current vehicle insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to travel independently to assigned locations as needed.
• Flexibility to work according to the needs of the services and individuals.
• Previous experience preferred.
