Job summary

Mountain Area Community Services, Inc. seeks an overnight care provider to support an active young adult male with physical, cognitive, and behavioral disabilities.

This role emphasizes safe driving and maintaining a secure, structured environment during night hours. The ideal candidate is physically fit, mentally quick, and capable of assisting with transfers and lifting while delivering respectful, empathetic care.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with Current Vehicle insurance
• Experience with meal preparation (not microwave meals)
• Clean driving record
• Excellent social, problem solving and communication skills
• Must be physically strong and mentally engaging
• Must be accustomed to high level of activity
• Must be able to be comfortable with transfers and lifting
• Must be able to be physically fit to assist with physical transfers

Responsibilities

• Provide periodic overnight services for the designated individual.
• Maintain safety and a structured environment during night hours.
• Assist with transfers and lifting as needed.
• Drive safely and adhere to traffic rules and schedules.
• Participate in training such as CPR & First Aid, NCI and more.

Job description

This position would be providing periodic overnight services for an active young adult male with physical, cognitive and behavioral disabilities. The right candidate will be physically fit, mentally quick, and a skilled, safe driver. Smoking is not allowed on-site or at the workplace. Pay range is $18 - $20 per hour with increments in pay of $.50/hour to be made every six months for the first two years.
