Job summary

Mountain Area Community Services (MACS) in Marion, NC seeks a Direct Service Provider to offer one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This full-time role pays $17.50 per hour and up, depending on services performed, and includes paid training opportunities.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license with current vehicle insurance, and maintain a clean driving record. Flexible hours and the ability to travel to multiple locations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with current vehicle insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to independently travel to assigned locations as needed.
• Able to work flexible hours according to the needs of the services and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Marion, NC.
• Support daily living activities and independence under supervision as needed.
• Coordinate with service team to meet individual goals and safety requirements.
