Job summary

A community service provider in North Carolina is seeking a qualified individual to provide alternative living services for a young adult male with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours. This contracted role offers $60,000 per year, including paid training opportunities such as CPR and First Aid.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma, GED or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or comparable experience (Minimum of 3 years I/DD experience).
• Valid Driver’s License with Current Vehicle insurance required.
• Clean Driving record needed.
• Able to work flexible hours according to the needs of the services and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide alternative living services for a young adult male with I/DD.
• Services are provided 24 hours a day out of your own home.

Education

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or comparable experience ( Minimum of 3 years I/DD experience)
• Residence in McDowellCounty area preferred, though neighboringcounties in WNC would be considered
• Valid Driver’s License with Current Vehicle insurance
• Clean Driving record
• Able to work flexible hours according to the needs of the services and individuals
