Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in direct care or caregiving preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a client-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and personal assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Implement individualized care plans and document progress accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for all residents.
