Job summary

Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland is seeking Direct Service Professionals to provide in-home care for adults with developmental disabilities in the Akron area. You will be a companion, caregiver, teacher and coach, supporting daily living activities, meal prep, housekeeping and social engagement to help clients lead their best lives.

We offer full-time, part-time and PRN schedules with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Clear background check.
• Current Ohio Driver's license and reliable transportation; car insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Act as companion, caregiver, teacher and coach.
• Assist with activities of daily living: personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, and socialization.

Job Summary: A DSP supports adults with intellectual disabilities in their everyday lives. As a DSP, you will be a companion and a caregiver. You will be a teacher and a coach. You will help with activities of daily living including personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, recreational activities, and socialization. You will help others to live their best lives possible…and in doing so, will make your life better, too!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Flexible scheduling.

Pay Rate: $15 -$17.50 per hour
